About My Clients
If you're personally struggling with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, anger, relationships, or life situations that feel overwhelming - I'm here to help. I take inclusion and cultural respect very seriously, because you matter. I'm trained as a generalist to help many people, but my professional specialties are trauma, depression, and relationships. I'd like to get you to a sense of health and confidence. Call or email if you're ready. I'm here.
My Background and Approach
I received my B.A. in Psychology and my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Arkansas. I completed internship at Counseling and Psychological Services department of university housing working with college students. My second internship was with Ozark Guidance Center doing community mental health. I work from a trauma informed lens as a CCTP and emphasize building present moment safety, as it's really the first step in treating almost everything.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
This is a little different, but sure. I lean politically left, secular, and do my best to be an ally to communities I cannot claim personally as a Caucasian male. In that sense, I consider myself a respectful student. I enjoy gardening, time with partner, and building my private practice. I'm gradually turning into an old man.
