About My Clients
My clients are anywhere from teenagers to senior adults. I have specialized training in sex and porn addiction, substance use issues, and infidelity recovery. I also work with anger, anxiety, and depression issues. I'll give you specific tools as you focus on moving past your roadblocks or your out-of-control behavior. I work with the LGBTQ+ community, and I take a sex-positive, confidential approach.
My Background and Approach
As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT), and a Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist (CMAT), I have specialized training in a variety of addictions, including substances. Not just endless talk, talk, talk that goes nowhere. I use multiple evidence-based mental health treatments combined with genuine compassion and care so that my clients feel better sooner. If they're open to it, I often give my clients specific handouts or homework to do during the week. I don't believe in forcing the client to do something that isn't working. I begin where you are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
One of the greatest regrets that many people have is that they never became the person they wanted to be. I'm passionate about helping clients uncover their true potential and move beyond the barriers that are holding them back. I work to co-create a new future with clients by regarding them as experts of their own lives. I strive to be a calming presence to people in stressful situations and am respectful of my clients' needs, perspective, and values.
