About My Clients
I specialize in helping high schoolers, college students, and young adults find meaning and feel more grounded. Life as a young person can be tough. You might be struggling with anxious thoughts and feelings, navigating your relationships and responsibilities, and building your identity. It’s understandable if you feel overwhelmed by these things, and therapy can help. I provide a friendly, nonjudgemental space to help you learn more about yourself, create change, and ultimately feel better.
My Background and Approach
I’ve worked extensively with students at CU Boulder and BVSD, plus teens and young adults across Colorado. Having been in therapy myself as a young adult, I get how hard this stage of life can be, and how much therapy can help. My approach is relaxed yet purposeful, blending a variety of therapeutic modalities into therapeutic conversations (CBT, DBT, MI, SFBT, and EMDR). I tailor sessions to your needs, offering a safe space to explore, confront challenges, and grow. Expect practical tools, a bit of humor, and collaborative efforts towards your goals. I offer in-person sessions in Boulder and virtual therapy statewide. I am passionate about supporting people to feel understood, empowered, and on track toward your goals—whether that’s managing anxiety, building identity, or finding balance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe young people deserve a space to be themselves, without judgment. Life as a teen and young adult is wild: pressure, uncertainty, and big emotions are real, but so is your potential to thrive. Therapy isn’t about ‘fixing’ you; it’s about understanding yourself and making changes that sticks. I think laughter and connection can heal as much as hard work can, and I’m here to meet you where you’re at, not push some rigid agenda. Whether you’re a student or just figuring out adulthood. You’ve got this, and I’ve got your back.
