About My Clients
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Life changes happen throughout but are prominent during these times and I help walk this journey with them while navigating the changes occurring. I work with clients who have depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and those who are navigating life changes and adjustments. I approach therapy as a collaboration between the therapist and client and I believe the client is the expert in their experiences.
My Background and Approach
I have my B.S. in Psychology and my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a licensed professional counselor associate in the state of Texas. My experience comes from working with children on the autism spectrum as a behavior therapist in a private school for three years. I have also worked in a non-profit agency and an inpatient hospital. I have most of my experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves to have a space that is just about them. A space that allows them to explore all the parts of them without judgement but also a space that will help move them through the emotions that come along with exploring these parts. I hold space for everyone who walks into my therapy room and all their lived experiences.
