About My Clients

I support high functioning individuals in maneuvering life challenges & transitions that impact identity and coping in a holistic way. I work with clients impacted by eating disorders, trauma, post- traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, esteem, cultural identity conflicts, and intrapersonal conflicts.

My Background and Approach

I believe in a holistic approach to understanding and nurturing yourself. Utilizing psychotherapy is one of the many tools that can achieve this. As a clinician, I see myself as a vessel for healing, but also a giver of tools. I hold the space, along with reflection, but I believe in the strengths, intuitiveness, and expertise that my clients have to empower themselves. I incorporate mindfulness, and the exploration of spirituality, to foster connection to one’s core identity. Therapy is a wonderful tool when one shows up to the process open, and willing to do the work. Therapy is not about fixing yourself, your problems, or your emotional experiences. My style is to combine talk therapy with personal development coaching, creating an experience that is both supportive, and solutions focused. I devise specific treatment plans that may include utilizing worksheets, art, music, narration, nature and adventure to process your thoughts, emotions, and connect to who you are.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As an individual, my core values are freedom, joy, peace, spirituality, and service. These values shape and impact my approach to the healing process.. I believe that healing comes in many capacities, and as everyone doesn't have access to quality care, I do my best to share resources across various channels in order to facilitate equitable access to wellness tools. Being able to safely embrace one's self , tremendously impacts the quality of one's life. I recognize that there are systems and institutions that seek to oppress people through forces of racism, sexism, genderism, heterosexism, ageism, ableism, xenophobia, and so many other lens of power dynamics. All these patterns of beliefs and systems, impact the mental health and well lack woman, being of billions everyday. As a Social Worker, I look at Mental Health & Illness through an intersectional lens, also considering how social, political, and economic structures impact my clients.
