About My Clients
My ideal clients are individuals, couples, and families who are ready to better understand themselves, improve their relationships, and create healthier patterns. I especially enjoy working with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, family conflict, communication difficulties, and emotional overwhelm. I also have a special heart for veterans and military-connected families.
My Background and Approach
I am advanced in working with individuals, couples, and families through a relational and systems-focused lens. My clinical work incorporates Emotionally Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care, allowing me to tailor treatment to each client’s needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. As a U.S. military veteran, I also bring an informed understanding of military culture, transition, stress, and family dynamics. In addition, my personal experience as the parent of two neurodivergent children gives me a meaningful perspective on advocacy, caregiver stress, and the unique strengths and challenges neurodivergent families may face. My goal is to help clients feel understood while giving them practical tools, deeper insight, and healthier ways of navigating relationships, emotions, and life transitions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
A big part of who I am, both personally and professionally, is rooted in advocacy, service, and compassion for communities that are often misunderstood or overlooked. I am especially passionate about the neurodivergent community and believe strongly in creating spaces where individuals and families feel seen, respected, supported, and empowered. I also have a deep appreciation for senior citizens and the wisdom, resilience, and life experience they bring, and I care deeply about supporting them through life transitions, grief, family changes, and the challenges that can come with aging. As a military veteran, I am also passionate about the veteran community and understand many of the unique pressures that can come with service, transition, identity, relationships, and family life. At the heart of my work is a belief in dignity, connection, advocacy, and helping people feel that their experiences matte
