My Background and Approach
I have been working in the mental health and substance abuse field for 8 years and counting. I am dually licensed (Licensed Professional Counselor & Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor). My goal in therapy is to help someone within an environment that is safe, which facilitates them to be able to change and also be able to maintain that change. Change is often times hard to do, however with the right guidance it can be possible. It will be my pleasure to help you on your journey to change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone has the capacity to change and with the right help a person can maintain that change. As a counselor, I am here to facilitate a person to learn effective coping skills to use when a problem/issue arises.
