About My Clients
The folks I work with are typically dealing with difficulties brought up due to life transitions they are experiencing, becoming parents, moving away from home, starting a new career, etc. As their therapist I strive to meet them where they are and support them in finding the right tools to make the necessary changes they need in life. These transitions can lead to anxiety, depression, increased stress, burnout, and difficulties with relationships. Together we learn the skills which fit you best
My Background and Approach
For close to 10 years I have strived to learn best practices and connect these to the clients I work with. As such I have developed a person centered and strengths based approached, taking the clinical knowledge and adding warmth and care to it, to support clients. As a social worker I aim to see clients as a whole person, not just the "issues/problems" they may come into an intake session describing. With certifications in reflective parenting, trauma informed care, anxiety and depression management I believe I can support my clients in reaching their goals. I also continue to seek and participate in trainings on an ongoing basis; I always say we are lifelong learners.
