About My Clients
I work with individuals (ages 10+) and couples of all identities, with a focus on anxiety disorders, ADHD, trauma, interpersonal and relationship issues, life transitions, perfectionism, and minority and immigrant experiences. I invite you to reach out via text or email to see if we would be a good fit.
My Background and Approach
Most of my clients describe me as a gentle listener, yet firm and honest when needed. As a clinical social worker, I take a holistic and eclectic approach to therapy. This means that I focus on you as a whole person and tailor my therapeutic work to your unique needs and goals. I utilize a variety of modalities, including trauma-informed, mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, which means that I have specialized training in trauma treatment. Through our collaboration, I seek to walk alongside you towards greater self-actualization, equip you with effective coping tools for deeper healing, and empower you to live more fully.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is grounded in an intersectional and culturally-sensitive framework because I believe that our identities, encounters and experiences shape how we feel about ourselves, others, and our world. I resonate with the cultural minority experience, having faced my own share of marginalization, self-doubt, and insecure sense of belonging in certain spaces. As a result, I am wholeheartedly committed to creating a non-judgmental space for you to feel safe and welcome to express yourself as you are, even if you're still trying to figure it out.
