About My Clients
Many clients come to therapy seeking healing that goes beyond the personal. It’s about finding a voice and belonging in a world that hasn’t always made space for them. I work with individuals and couples navigating identity, depression, anxiety, and life transitions, creating an affirming, collaborative space that supports authenticity, resilience, and meaningful connection.
My Background and Approach
Every client’s healing journey is unique. Many people come to therapy wanting to better understand themselves, heal from trauma, and create more fulfilling relationships. My approach honors each person’s story and pace for growth through a trauma-informed lens that supports nervous system regulation and emotional safety. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic practices, parts work, and mindfulness-based approaches to meet clients where they are. I aim to show up authentically in our work together, creating a space where clients can do the same. Outside the therapy room, I challenge myself to regularly do things that scare me. It’s how I stay connected to the same growth process I invite my clients into. I believe courage often begins simply by showing up.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Many clients seek therapy to feel safe, seen, and accepted in all parts of who they are. Healing often begins with connection and authenticity, especially for those who have felt unseen, unheard, or unworthy. My work is grounded in inclusivity, equity, and social justice, creating space for clients to explore identity, resilience, and belonging. I’m an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and am passionate about supporting queer, trans, and gender-expansive individuals as they navigate self-discovery and empowerment. I continually deepen my understanding of anti-racism and decolonizing mental health so I can reduce harm and foster true healing. Therapy, to me, is not just about coping—it’s about imagining and embodying new ways of living, loving, and relating. I show up as a real person in the room: compassionate, curious, and fully present in your growth process.
