About My Clients
My clients are often adults, teens, and LGBTQ+ individuals who are tired of "performing" or toughing it out alone. You might feel the weight of anxiety, racial trauma, depression or spaces that don’t truly see you. Whether you’re a facing burnout, a teen/adult navigating identity and life issues, or adults struggling to connect with your emotions, you want more than just talk, you want practical tools to regulate your body and reclaim your sense of self.
My Background and Approach
Most people come to me when "just talking about it" isn't enough anymore. You might feel like you’re constantly on edge, stuck in your head, or exhausted from trying to "tough it out" in a world that doesn’t always see the real you. My approach is different because we work with your mind and your body at the same time. I use CBT and DBT to give you a mental "toolbox", helping you challenge negative thoughts and stay in control when your emotions feel like a rollercoaster. But we don't stop there. Because stress and trauma are physically stored in your nervous system, I use Somatic (body-based) tools and ACT to help you find actual, physical calm. This isn't just about venting; it’s about learning how to "unclench" from the pressure of daily life. Whether you’re navigating the weight of minority stress, identity, or just feeling overwhelmed, my goal is to help you stop performing for everyone else and start living a life that actually feels like yours.
