About My Clients
You may be showing up in your life and meeting your responsibilities, but something isn’t settling. Anxiety, overwhelm, or relationship patterns keep repeating, even when you try to manage them. You might feel on edge, emotionally shut down, or disconnected from yourself. I work with adults who are ready to understand what’s driving these patterns and begin changing what isn’t resolving so they can feel more steady, connected, and present in their daily lives.
My Background and Approach
My approach is integrative and grounded in understanding how emotional, relational, and physiological patterns develop and persist over time. Therapy focuses on helping you recognize what’s driving these patterns, regulate your nervous system, and begin to change what isn’t resolving. This work goes beyond insight, with an emphasis on meaningful, lasting change that carries into your daily life. I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, EMDR, EFIT, and polyvagal-informed work to support nervous system regulation and deeper emotional processing. My background in forensic psychology has shaped my ability to recognize complex patterns and work with the impact of trauma, coercive control, and relational dynamics—particularly where identity, safety, and long-standing patterns have been disrupted. This allows for a more nuanced, focused approach to treatment that supports greater stability, connection, and consistency in your day-to-day life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the patterns people struggle with often develop for a reason, even if they no longer serve them. My work is grounded in approaching these patterns with curiosity while also actively working toward meaningful, lasting change. I value a collaborative and grounded approach to therapy, one that feels real, thoughtful, and focused on helping you move forward in a way that actually works for your life. I’m particularly drawn to work around attachment and relational patterns, identity development, and the lasting impact of trauma. I find it meaningful to help people understand how these experiences shape the way they relate to themselves and others, and to support them in developing more secure, fulfilling relationships. I’m also interested in helping individuals build a more balanced, sustainable way of living whether that involves improving emotional regulation, navigating dating and relationships, or creating a stronger sense of direction and meaning in their lives.
