About My Clients
You may be experiencing symptoms due to residual trauma or recently experienced a big life transition such as an identity shift, career change or loss. Although these experiences may have a different flavor of stress, anxiety or depression, they can shake you to your core all the same. From helping many others through trauma and big transitions, I am here to tell you that you can find meaning and purpose behind the pain you have endured and you don’t have to have anything “figured out” to begin.
My Background and Approach
I help people through grief, trauma, and major life transitions using existential psychotherapy, EMDR, and IFS in a relational, down-to-earth way. Our sessions are a space to be honest, uncertain, angry, sad, hopeful, or numb—whatever is true for you. I’m passionate about the healing power of relationship and about helping you restore connection with yourself, which can also ripple out into your relationships with others. Rather than “fixing” you, I focus on honoring your lived experience, working with your body’s wisdom, and uncovering your authentic voice and sense of purpose so you can move toward a more grounded, meaningful life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we’re physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual beings, deeply connected to a larger Whole. We’re always in relationship—to ourselves, others, the earth, our social identities, and the worlds we inhabit. When we’re hurt, it makes sense to protect ourselves by pulling away, but this can deepen isolation and disconnection from that larger web. My own struggles have shown me the healing power of returning to relationship: honoring pain, leaning into difficult emotions, trusting the wisdom of the mind–body, and rediscovering meaning and purpose. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family—partner, daughter, and dog—hiking in nature and getting lost in fantasy novels.
