About My Clients
I work with couples, individuals, and young adults who feel stuck in painful relationship patterns, communication struggles, anxiety, life transitions, or disconnection from themselves and others. Many of my clients are navigating relationship conflict, premarital concerns, trust issues, attachment wounds, or major life changes. They want healthier relationships, greater emotional security, and a deeper understanding of themselves and the people they love.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, founder of Peaks and Valleys Therapy, and have worked in the mental health field for more than 15 years. Before opening my private practice in 2019, I spent a decade providing Comprehensive School and Community Treatment (CSCT) services to children, adolescents, and families throughout Montana. My specialty is Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I have completed both the EFT Externship and Core Skills training, along with specialized training in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT). My work is grounded in attachment science and the belief that we are wired for connection. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I help clients understand the emotional and relational patterns that keep them feeling stuck. Together we work to create greater emotional safety, stronger communication, deeper self-understanding, and more secure relationships. I provide therapy in Missoula and online throughout Montana.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens through connection, compassion, and being genuinely understood. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where people feel safe enough to explore difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful change. As a Montana native, I care deeply about serving the communities that shaped me. I value inclusivity, authenticity, and creating affirming spaces for people of all backgrounds, identities, relationship structures, sexual orientations, abilities, and life experiences. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my family, fly fishing, paddleboarding, learning, and exploring Montana's mountains, rivers, and open spaces. Many of the experiences that bring us joy and meaning happen in connection with others, and that belief continues to guide both my life and my work as a therapist.
