About My Clients
My clients are those who have experience of being the "black sheep" of the family. They were or still are considered the problem child of the family. My clients that struggle with behavioral issues in their children and running out of resources. My client that engages in family arguments and often misunderstandings.
My Background and Approach
As a Master's level Marriage and Family Therapist, I work from a systemic approach that looks at each individual and how they are contributing to the presenting problem. My goal is to help families get out of the cycle they have engaged in for so long. I avoid taking sides and challenge each person in the family. I help guide each person to reach their best self and feel more confident in their relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe families have rules, roles, beliefs, and expectations that can be contributing to the families presenting problems and hindering each individual from reaching their full potential. I believe previous generations and societal factors influence how we think a family should look. I believe there is room for creating a family dynamic that works for everyone and allows each individual to be their authentic self.
