My Background and Approach
My training affords me the opportunity to impart to you a wealth of coping mechanisms that together we can implement using various strategies such as the cognitive behavioral approach (CBT), family systems, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as numerous other means to improve your well-being. I will give you practical techniques that you can implement immediately. I am actively involved in ongoing training to constantly improve my skill set to better provide for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe, based on personal experience, that we all can improve from self examination, that the foundation of our contentment begins by restructuring faulty learned behavior, by learning how our brain operates and what is involved with the, "why" we can develop methods to the "How". We are all connected and we all seek contentment, validation, hope, and a better life for ourselves and our loved ones, therefore we are all important.
