About My Clients
Many of my clients live with OCD or ADHD and are looking for therapy that understands the patterns, the overwhelm, and the constant mental noise. They want practical skills, steady support, and a place where their experience is taken seriously without judgment. Others come in with anxiety, grief, or identity questions and appreciate a calm, collaborative approach.
My Background
Clients meet with someone who brings experience from counseling, social work, peer support, and crisis work. That mix creates a steady, grounded presence in the room and a style that respects each person’s pace. The work centers on OCD, ADHD, anxiety, grief, identity shifts, and the quieter struggles that build up over time. Care is rooted in inclusion, authenticity, and a connection to the natural world. Humor, creativity, and metaphor show up when they help things feel more accessible. CBT and ACT guide much of the work, offering practical tools that support clarity, resilience, and a return to what matters most. Wilds Within was created as a place where people across Salem, Keizer, the Willamette Valley, and rural Oregon can feel seen and supported. All identities are honored here, and the work is guided by a belief in dignity, steadiness, and the capacity for growth.
Why I Became a Therapist
I became a therapist after years in peer support, crisis response, and community mental health in Oregon, where I saw how much it matters to have someone sit with you without judgment or pressure. Those experiences shaped the way I show up now: steady, grounded, and focused on helping people feel understood. Working with OCD, ADHD, anxiety, and grief became a natural path because so many people in Salem, Keizer, and the Willamette Valley are looking for support that feels calm, inclusive, and real. I believe people deserve a space where they can slow down, sort through what feels heavy, and reconnect with their strengths and values. Becoming a therapist allows me to offer that kind of presence and support people in finding clarity, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
