About My Clients

I am here to help you heal and thrive moving forward from traumatic experiences utilizing gold-standard evidence-based practices. My practice is online only.
My Background and Approach
I have spent the last six years in the field, continuing my education in gold-standard trauma treatments and helping people at the highest levels of care reach a level of contentment they never expected to achieve again. For the last four years, I have run an intensive outpatient program for individuals who have substance use disorder and trauma-related disorders, and I am now expanding my services into private practice. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a master’s degree in Clinical Addiction Counseling. I am EMDR trained and have continued an extra year of training to achieve my certification. I have seen and experienced firsthand the massive impact good therapy can have on trauma disorders, and I love being able to help people break free of the grip it can have on us.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I began my career in the mental health field doing crisis counseling on the crisis text line. I immediately fell in love with the work and began pursuing my Master's degrees to start my counseling career. I then moved into the inpatient/intensive outpatient level of care, where I had the privilege of working with an enormous variety of people from all different walks of life. The higher level of care gave me many unique experiences and revealed my true passion for working with trauma and related disorders. Once I realized this passion, I pursued additional training to hone my skills and become a trauma specialist.
