About My Clients
Many of my clients are people of color, women in tech, and tech executives. I also work with the diverse group of people who make up the LGBTQ+ community and am very much affirming of people’s varied ways of being.
My Background and Approach
Process oriented and solution focused. I allow clients to talk about their experiences, allow them to explore and understands the context of their thoughts and feelings, and then move towards finding a way to manage them. I use Narrative Therapy, CBT, trauma focused narratives, mindfulness, compassion based skills and acceptance skills. Learn more about me on my website: allyconnection.com
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in validating the struggles of 1st and 2nd generation immigrants. I believe in making space for those whose don't fit the mold. I believe in celebrating untraditional methods and meaning of success. I agree that we all need more self-love and self-compassion before we begin to give this out to the world around us.
