About My Clients
If you’re used to constantly editing yourself, wondering if you’re “too much,” overexplaining your needs, or running on fumes trying to navigate a world that doesn’t always work for your brain, you’re welcome here. Maybe you’re exhausted from masking, questioning parts of your identity, navigating ADHD/autism, or carrying old wounds that still show up today. You don’t need a polished script, a diagnosis, or a neat list of goals to reach out. You don’t have to perform or prepare here.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, but therapy with me isn’t about sitting across from a clinical expert with a clipboard. I want it to feel like a real conversation with someone who brings curiosity, humor, compassion, and clinical experience into the room. My approach is collaborative, affirming, trauma-informed, and justice-centered, drawing from trauma recovery, attachment, mindfulness, self-compassion, and cognitive-behavioral approaches. But we’ll tailor therapy to what actually works for you. Some days, that might mean finding practical, low-demand ways to work with anxiety, burnout, or sensory overwhelm. Other days, we might unpack identity, relationships, old expectations, or experiences from the past that are still showing up today. You bring expertise about your lived experience. I bring clinical training, curiosity, and a steady place to figure things out together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing gets easier when you have space to be fully yourself, without editing, explaining, or shrinking who you are. As a queer, genderqueer, neurodivergent, and disabled psychologist, I know personally that moving through a world that wasn’t designed with every body, brain, gender, or way of being in mind can be complicated and exhausting. My lived experience shapes how I approach this work, but I never assume it means I automatically understand yours. I want to learn your map. Outside of therapy, I’m usually falling down Wikipedia rabbit holes, playing TTRPGs with chosen family, baking, needle felting, taking quiet nature strolls, or hanging out with my calico cat, Chex. You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. If something here feels familiar, reach out and see whether we feel like a good fit. Come as you are. We’ll start there.
