My Background and Approach

As a neurodivergent LPC-A and certified rehabilitation counselor in Texas, I have a passion for helping other neurodivergent individuals navigate the world with a unique perspective. I specialize in assessment and diagnosis of ADHD and autism, and I also provide individual and vocational counseling, which aims to assist you in managing your emotions, sharpening your focus, and cultivating the abilities to effectively advocate for yourself and discover rewarding career paths. With a warm and collaborative approach, my goal is to create a comfortable and supportive environment throughout our journey working together. Together, we will develop practical coping strategies tailored to meet your specific needs, empowering you to embrace your strengths and tackle obstacles head-on. It’s all about fostering a safe space where growth and thriving can take place. Let’s work together to turn challenges into steppingstones toward a brighter future!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I firmly believe in the transformative power of lived experience and understanding; my personal journey informs my empathetic approach. Growing up as a neurodivergent individual, I faced my fair share of challenges in school, often feeling like the odd one out—struggling to keep up, doubting my intelligence, and yearning to be understood. I often questioned why social interactions were challenging and why learning felt like an uphill battle. It wasn't until my late teens, when I was diagnosed as neurodivergent, that everything clicked. This revelation reshaped my perspective, allowing me to embrace my uniqueness and recognize my strengths. Now, I'm on a mission to help others navigate their challenges while celebrating their differences. My practice offers a supportive space for clients, blending counseling with vocational guidance. I advocate for neurodiversity and support initiatives promoting awareness and inclusivity, believing everyone deserves to thrive.
