About My Clients
My clients are adult trauma survivors seeking a safe, inclusive space to heal patterns shaped by cPTSD, attachment wounds, anxiety, and chronic overwhelm. Many feel disconnected, stuck in survival mode, or unsure how to trust themselves again. Using EMDR, IFS, somatic therapy, and CBT, I help clients build regulation, self-compassion, and a more grounded way of moving through the world. I am licensed in both Oregon and Washington and work with clients from both states.
My Background and Approach
I am a Trauma-Focused LPC LMHC with 21 years of clinical experience and have advanced trainings in EMDR, IFS, Somatic Therapy and CBT. My approach is collaborative, relational, and grounded in trauma-informed and anti-oppressive care. I believe healing happens when your body, mind, and inner parts feel genuinely welcomed and respected. Together, we explore the patterns your nervous system learned for protection—fight, flight, freeze, or fawn—and work at a pace that feels safe and empowering. I help clients understand the impact of early relationships, reconnect with their bodies, and build internal resources that support long-term regulation, resilience, and self-trust. My work centers choice, compassion, and curiosity, honoring each person’s lived experience and the identities they hold. I strive to create an environment where you can show up authentically, feel seen without judgment, and move toward the steadiness and connection you’ve been longing for.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is most powerful when it honors your full humanity—your lived experiences, identities, and the wisdom your body carries. My values are rooted in trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, inclusive care. I view therapy as a collaborative space where your voice, autonomy, and boundaries matter. I believe people heal through connection, nervous-system safety, and the freedom to show up without judgment. I value curiosity over perfection, compassion over shame, and choice over pressure. My work is guided by the belief that trauma is not a personal failure—it is a response to what happened to you—and that everyone deserves access to care that is validating, culturally aware, LGBTQ+ affirming, and grounded in social and collective healing. I am committed to creating a therapeutic space where all parts of you are welcome and where change can unfold at the pace your system is ready for.
