About My Clients
Children and adults of all ages. I have worked with trauma, attachment, depression, anxiety, and neurodivergence. I am passionate about providing a platform to develop deeper understanding of one’s past and present to create a positive future. Together, clients and I work with techniques for healing; CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based practices, somatic work, and ACT. I work with all demographics and promote a safe place where all are welcome.
My Background and Approach
I have had years of experience working with children as a caregiver in the past and have taken courses at UCLA extension in early childhood education and early childhood development to help increase my underlying education. Having worked with families, I understand the importance of attachment and the family system’s importance in the child’s development. Working with adults, I have formed a special interest in working with trauma and have applied CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, mindfulness, and somatic techniques to help work through traumatic experiences. I have an extensive background in women’s health, and work with various populations to help with difficult life transitions, depression, and anxiety.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have volunteered with children and within local communities to help promote community building and leadership skills. I believe funding one’s calling has so much to do with not only doing the work internally, but in stepping into community to find one’s place in the larger whole.
