About My Clients
My clients are open minded, resilient, funny, and open to feedback. I mainly work with Black, Brown, and Indigenous women identifying individuals and non-binary folks. My clients and I do a lot of story telling and narrative recrafting in our work together. My goal is to allow clients to access the ideal version of themselves through non judgment. We do it through humor, vision crafting, exploring cognitive processes, and exploring generational/ancestral trauma.
My Background and Approach
Thank you for taking a step towards beginning your healing journey through therapy. It’s a privilege to be here and to be able to support others in this way. I am a bilingual Afro-Latinx psychotherapist with several years of experience in providing individual, couples, and group counseling. My area of expertise includes anxiety, depression, race based trauma, immigration stress, political trauma, PTSD, relationship hurdles, and overall stress management. I have a wide range of experience including hospital/health-based therapy, outpatient counseling, consultation to medical providers, and college-based counseling. I have always believed in the innate ability for individuals to face challenges with hope and vulnerability. I love the collaborative process and do my best to walk at a pace that makes sense with where my clients are at. I value that clients are the experts in their own lives and I feel honored to be a part of the process with them.
