Individuals and systems are in constant interaction and interdependent. You cannot have one without the other. Your identity is formulated within and in response to your system, whatever that may be, and your system is impacted by your identity. Family therapy is informed by a number of practices and methods to aid communication, acceptance, and understanding of human development, grace, and connection. The specifics beyond this methodology are informed only by YOU.

From the moment of your creation, you are attached; however, so many are wounded by the byproduct of that attachment. We spend much of our time letting painful moments inform our futures, or our families futures, and this steals from our joy in the present moment. We believe healthy relationships are the only pathway to healing, and to take steps toward something different is a risk. We believe the therapeutic relationship can be the first healthy step toward new attachment experiences.

We are a trauma-informed group that draws strength from a number of models for managing trauma. We have providers trained in EMDR, Prolonged Exposure, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Expsosure-DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, and more, so that we can use a "just-right" approach for you individual needs.

We are in the process of being a state registered DBT team and offering full DBT services under state supervision and training. Our trainer was directly trained by Marsha Linehand, the mastermind behind Dialectical Behavior Therapy. We seek to offer the model as intended by its creator and we not only offer it, but practice DBT skills in our own lives.

We each have multi-dyanamic exposure to trauma-informed practices, by history and agency experience. We work to maintain a high standard of professional service delivery to the rural community, and therefore, attend up to date trainings annually so that we may continue this standard of care. Current practices include prolonged exposure, mindful movement, trauma-focused CBT, EMDR, and DBT.

We use attachment models that consider the part-whole dynamic, working to utilize the therapeutic relationship to reinforce positive experiences within existing systems. Theraplay strategies, Child-Parent Relational Therapy, parental training and education, and the Attachment Trauma Protocol fo Children, are utilized based on individual need.
