About My Clients
We specialize in treating people with psychiatric, medical, and neurological difficulties. We also work with people feeling stressed and overwhelmed who want to gain insight, support, and specific tools and strategies to be the best version of themselves that they can be. We have advanced training in evidence-based treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, and relationship issues. We provide individual, couples, and group therapy for adolescents aged 12+ and adults across the lifespan.
My Background and Approach
All of the therapists at The Snow Psychology Group are fully trained and independently licensed. Our psychologists are licensed to provide telehealth services to those in MD/DC/VA and over 25 other participating PSYPACT states. We have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, ACT, mindfulness, Gottman method couples therapy, as well as supportive psychotherapies. Our therapists are experienced at tailoring their specific approach to the needs of each individual and we strive to match each patient with the therapist in our practice who would be the best fit for them. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We believe in the importance of creating a strong therapeutic alliance within a safe, non-judgmental space so that you can fully and openly process your thoughts and feelings. We value each person and provide culturally competent care that recognizes and supports the many facets and identities of each individual. We believe in the power of group therapy to provide support and learn from others and we offer many weekly therapy groups, eg, CBT for Depression & Anxiety, Mindfulness Skills, Separation & Divorce, Aging & Wellness, Teens Managing Emotions & Relationships.
