About My Clients
For many of our clients, taking the first step toward seeking therapy is often the hardest step toward recovery and self-empowerment. Despite increasing awareness for and access to mental health treatment across the United States, there is still a ton of stigma and shame surrounding seeking support from a licensed professional. At The G&STC our mission is to offer a safe, non-judgmental, and empowering therapeutic space, free from stigma, shame, discrimination, and microaggressions.
My Background and Approach
Our therapists have specialized training and expertise in working with: gender, sexuality, poly/non-monogamy, kink, BDSM, fetishes, sexual functioning, sexual anxiety, compulsive sexual behaviors, relationship conflict, infidelity, desire differences in relationships, parents with LGBTQ identified or questioning children, conflicts of faith and/or spirituality with gender and sexuality, depression, anxiety, addiction, and HIV/AIDS.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
For anyone, beginning therapy can be filled with a range of feelings, from fear to excitement to uncertainty. As therapists, we hope to guide, support, empower and be with you during this process of growth, exploration, and self actualization. We want to work with you to realize a life you find fulfilling on your own terms. We believe that taking the first step and beginning therapy is nothing short of courageous, is self-caring, and deeply rewarding. All of you is welcome here.
