About My Clients
Do you find yourselves having the same argument over and over, even when you promise it will be different this time? Does one of you shut down while the other pushes harder, leaving both of you feeling unheard and alone? I understand how painful that cycle can be—the tension, the distance, the fear that nothing will change. Relationship therapy can help slow these moments down, uncover what’s really happening underneath, and create safer, more connected ways of being together.
My Background and Approach
My work is grounded in Imago Relationship Therapy, a relationship-centered approach that helps couples understand why they get stuck in the same patterns and how to shift them. The tools I offer are ones I’ve refined through years of working with couples who want real change, not just insight. You’ll learn practical ways to communicate, listen, and resolve conflicts in the moment, so they feel less overwhelming and more productive. My goal is for you to leave therapy with several concrete tools you can use during difficult conversations to create safety, understanding, and connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people have the capacity to change and grow at any stage of life, especially within relationships. Most relational struggles aren’t character flaws; they’re learned patterns shaped by early experiences and reinforced over time. That means they can be understood, softened, and changed. I believe conflict is not the problem; disconnection is. Through Imago Relationship Therapy, I help people understand how their past shapes how they love, communicate, and protect themselves today. When those patterns are brought into awareness and met with safety, meaningful change becomes possible. I value inclusion, equity, and dignity for all people, and I strive to create a space where every identity and relationship structure is respected and valued.
