About My Clients
I work with first responders, active-duty military, veterans, and their families who are ready for meaningful change. My approach is supportive and grounded in gold-standard treatments proven within these communities to be efficient and effective. I specialize in PTSD, moral injury, depression, anxiety, panic, substance use, chronic pain, and insomnia, offering culturally competent care that respects the realities of service while helping you heal and reconnect.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 35995) and founder of America’s First Responder Services. My doctorate research focused on reducing stigma and building resilience among first responders, and I completed advanced training at VA hospitals and military medical centers, where I specialized in trauma and high-acuity care. These clinical and research experiences taught me what works when helping those in high-stakes roles. I provide evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Beharioal Therapy, & Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, all validated among the first responder and military community. I also treat related concerns including moral injury, depression, anxiety, substance use, chronic pain, and insomnia. Clients benefit from care that is direct, culturally competent, and efficient, designed to help you recover faster, strengthen resilience, and get back to living and serving at your best.
