About My Clients
I have a particularly strong history working with adolescents, but also across the lifespan regarding issues of ADHD and executive functioning, depression, anxiety, and interpersonal concerns. Through a warm and accepting environment, I work with individuals to help them identify strengths, enhance skills, problem-solve, and structure home schedules to improve behaviors, interactions, and emotional balance. Together, we can work to help you and/or your child feel more stable and successful.
My Background and Approach
I aim to provide a safe and comfortable environment in which to discuss difficult topics such as family dynamics, depressive thoughts, anxious experiences, and painful, traumatic interactions. Relationships guide our lives and by gaining insight into our true feelings and perceptions, we can learn how to live and interact in a more beneficial and peaceful way. Whether it be figuring out difficult personality styles, becoming more educated about ADHD and executive functioning, identifying how to quiet our negative thoughts, or figuring out the patterns we have developed, I help individuals and families improve their relationships with themselves and each other. Therapy is a very personal and unique experience and the fit between client and therapist is paramount to the positive effects of treatment. Only through a sense of comfort and genuine support, will therapy offer benefit.
