I have extensive experience treating eating disorders including co-creating the first eating disorder treatment team at FIU's college counseling center, working at a residential eating disorder treatment facility in a variety of roles (therapist and clinical director), and co-leading the first clinician-led eating disorder support group in Miami. I treat Anorexia, Bulimia, binge/emotional eating, and ARFID. Weight inclusive, HAES aligned, intuitive eating focused.

I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, an evidence-based 12-session treatment that consistently shows a significant reduction in trauma symptoms. I work with survivors of all types of trauma including childhood abuse or neglect, domestic violence, sexual assault or harassment, accidents or natural disasters, medical trauma, community violence, racial trauma, intergenerational trauma, and complex/developmental trauma. My approach prioritizes safety, trust, and proper pacing.

I have completed extensive training (level 3) in Gottman Method couples counseling, one of the most evidence-based treatments for couples and relationship issues. I also have extensive training in DBT skills, which has a whole module on interpersonal effectiveness. I will teach you practical skills from these approaches to immediately start creating change in your most important relationships. Queer friendly, sex-positive, and accepting of all relationship types/structures.

I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy, meaning that I completed a 2 day training and extensive weekly supervision with one of the co-creators of this treatment. This is one of the most evidence-based treatment approaches for trauma. It is a 12 session treatment and most people demonstrate a significant reduction in trauma symptoms after completing the 12 sessions. My approach prioritizes safety, trust, and empowerment, ensuring that you are always in control of the pace of treatment.

I have extensive training in DBT and have co-facilitated a virtual DBT skills group for the past 6 years. I continue to co-lead this group and can facilitate individual and/or group DBT skills training for clients. DBT helps you develop practical skills for regulating emotions, tolerating distressing situations, improving your relationships, and creating a life worth living. DBT has proven highly effective for a wide range of mental health challenges.

I completed level 3 training in Gottman Method couples counseling. an evidence-based approach grounded in over four decades of research on what makes relationships succeed and fail. I focus on strengthening friendship and fondness between partners, improving communication and conflict management, building shared meaning and life goals, and repairing emotional injuries that have eroded trust and connection. We will identify and replace destructive patterns in your relationship.
