About My Clients

You can be the “together” one and still be struggling. My clients are often smart, self-aware, and deeply caring, the ones others rely on, yet inside they feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and stuck. I specialize in eating disorders/disordered eating and body image struggles, including constant food/body thoughts, body checking, shame, and feeling at war with yourself.

My Background and Approach

As someone who has been recovered from an eating disorder for 10 years, I deeply understand how overwhelming this journey can feel, and I also know firsthand that healing is possible. Before opening my private practice, I spent years supporting clients as a Clinical Director at a leading eating disorder treatment center in Southern California. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and helping you reconnect with yourself in ways that feel doable and deeply supportive. I also work with trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, and life transitions. I draw from approaches like CBT, DBT, Internal Family Systems, and Cognitive Processing Therapy, but most importantly, I tailor therapy to you. My goal is to help you feel understood, less alone, and more connected to the parts of yourself that are ready for change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I’m a therapist who believes healing happens through honesty, compassion, and a steady return to what’s true, beyond diet culture, perfectionism, and shame. My work is grounded in a body-respect, weight-inclusive lens, and I’m committed to providing an affirming space for people of all genders, bodies, and identities. Outside of therapy, I’m a big dog person (especially obsessed with my dog, Kora). I love crafts, dancing, and time with loved ones. I bring that same warmth and humanness into my work, with a strong awareness of how stigma and systems impact mental health, especially around bodies and identity.
