My Background and Approach
My background includes a B.A.in Psychology, a Master's degree M.S.W. in Social work and a second Masters degree M.A. in Addiction Studies. I have over 20 years clinical experience working with diverse populations of all ages in healthcare, emergency services, psychiatric emergency department, mobile community-based crisis intervention services, corrections, inpatient mental health and medical units and outpatient facility and private practice settings. I understand that every individual is unique. My time with you will be a collaborative process to draw upon your strengths, helping promote a deeper understanding and change, while progressing you towards your identified goals. I also offer tools for healing and strengthening your interpersonal relationships. I am an EMDR trained therapist and specialize in providing EMDR therapy for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression and recent event traumas.

I believe that our past does not define us. I believe that our deepest pain and biggest struggles create the greatest opportunities for growth and healing. While complete healing is not always possible, we each carry within us the capacity and tools to create more fulfilling and happier lives. I believe in an integrated, holistic approach to wellness.
