About My Clients
I have over 5 years working with adults and adolescents healing trauma, struggling with life changes and the general messiness of being a human. I also specialize in substance abuse and enjoy supporting people wherever they are on their journey to recovery. I am passionate about helping everyone I work with to increase their peace, joy, and freedom to live life how they want to live it.
My Background and Approach
I believe we all have the answers and resources we need to achieve our goals inside of us, but sometimes they can be hard to find on our own. As a therapist, I view my role as being a guide to walk beside you as you embark on your journey towards healing, whatever that may look like for you. I believe that safety and the therapeutic relationship are two of the most important things I can bring to assist my clients. In addition, I work largely from an IFS or parts work model, and also can incorporate several other modalities, including CBT, DBT, MI, and music therapy. I bring my authentic self to every session, utilizing laughter when needed as well as open, honest, and direct communication.
