About My Clients
My area of expertise is working with individual adults and couples. My clients come from a range of cultural and identity backgrounds. I specialize in working with relationship ambivalence and/or problems, identity development and questions, family of origin processing, shame and confidence, body image, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Clients who work with me can expect a collaborative, connected space where we will work to implement the changes you are wanting in your life.
My Background and Approach
I am a relational therapist, meaning that my first priority is to create a therapeutic relationship that is connected, safe, strong, and reciprocal. I am also a Level I Gottman Certified therapist which I utilize in my work with my couple clients. My clients describe me as warm, curious, collaborative, approachable, and authentic. My goal is to help you to create a life with more purpose and growth. You deserve to experience a deeper understanding of yourself, more confidence and self-trust, and flourishing connections. To do this, we’ll explore how your past relationships may impact your present connections, while focusing on deeper healing instead of “quick fixes” that never seem to last.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I feel it is important to connect with my clients on a deep level to better understand the roots of their obstacles and uncertainties. To enter into therapy is a vulnerable and oftentimes intimidating endeavor and commitment, and I value and honor my clients’ willingness to explore themselves in this way. My hope is that your therapy experience will be one of insight and healing through which you are empowered to implement the changes you are craving in your life.
