About My Clients
Young adults, men and women, individuals new to parenting or having difficulty with parenting., individuals struggling with life transitions. I work with clients to develop greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and resilience. Together we work through issues and set goals to move towards a happier life. Ultimately clients feel better about themselves, better about their relationships, and have a renewed sense of purpose and fulfillment.
My Background and Approach
Life can be difficult. Let me help. I specialize in treating individuals going through life transitions, which can lead to strained relationships, anxiety, and depression. New partner? New baby? Empty-nester? Off to college? Unforeseen loss? Sometimes early experiences influence the way we deal with life's challenges, how we feel about ourselves, and how we relate to others. You may struggle to let your guard down and share your emotions and experiences with others. Confusing feelings of grief, shame, guilt, and sadness sometimes emerge around these major life changes.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the healing power of being truly heard and deeply understood. Having been through my own therapy journey, I know what it feels like to be on both sides of the therapy chair. I know the vulnerability and trust it takes to work with a therapist, and I have a deep respect for clients that allow me to be part of their journey. Together, we will explore your feelings, your circumstances, and your options. I will help you cope with what is present and figure out a better future. Our sessions will be safe spaces, full of empathy and devoid of judgment - you can bring your true thoughts and feelings to our work together.
