About My Clients
Terry provides therapy for depression, anxiety, relationship issues, sexuality, career conflicts, and other areas of concern. Terry believes therapy is an experience of connection and growth that is facilitated through the therapeutic relationship between the client and counselor. Terry creates a warm, empowering, yet sometimes challenging environment that will initiate meaningful growth and change.
My Background and Approach
Terry earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Terry has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and families and serves as a supervisor to licensed graduate professional counselors and interns. Terry’s clinical experiences include working within the University of North Carolina’s college counseling center, while simultaneously working in independent practice. In addition, Terry previously worked in healthcare as a crisis counselor, serving a wide range of patients. Currently, Terry serves as a supervisor at a Non-Profit organization and practices independently at Washington Psychological Wellness. Terry provides therapy for depression, anxiety, relationship issues, sexuality, career conflicts, and other areas of concern.

His mission is to help members of the community achieve holistic mental wellness and experience a healthy life.
