My clients are often navigating substance use, early recovery, anxiety, relationship stress, life transitions, or feeling stuck in old patterns. Many are looking for a safe, nonjudgmental space to be honest, build insight, strengthen coping skills, and begin creating a life that feels more stable, meaningful, and aligned with who they want to become.
My Background and Approach
I am a Certified Addiction Specialist and counseling intern with a recovery-informed, person-centered approach. I work with clients navigating substance use, early recovery, anxiety, life transitions, relationship stress, and patterns that feel difficult to change. My style is warm, grounded, collaborative, and practical. I draw from motivational interviewing, CBT, solution-focused therapy, existential therapy, and trauma-informed care. In therapy, we may explore your story, identify patterns, build coping skills, clarify values, and create realistic steps toward change. I believe therapy works best when clients feel respected, understood, and supported without judgment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are more than their struggles, symptoms, or past choices. Healing often begins when someone has a safe place to be honest about what is happening and still be met with dignity, curiosity, and compassion. I believe change is possible, but it does not always happen in a straight line. Therapy should help you understand yourself more clearly, reconnect with your values, and move toward a life that feels more stable, meaningful, and aligned. My role is not to judge or “fix” you, but to walk alongside you as you build insight, strength, and direction.
