My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of North Carolina with many years of practice. I graduated from East Carolina University with my Master’s in Social Work. I also have an undergraduate degree from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Human Development and Family Studies. I have a special interest in working with parent-child relationships, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC, and first-time therapy goers. I am extremely passionate on creating a safe space for a collaborative journey in navigating life’s challenges. I use many types of therapeutic techniques that focus on your natural strengths (CBT, Strength-Based, MI, etc.) and will help you navigate the challenges life throws your way. Our sessions will be a judgement free space to unpack when you're ready.
