About My Clients
I have earned a Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Touro Worldwide University, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Education from Concordia University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sport Science from Concordia University.
My Background and Approach
I have worked with all age groups, individuals, couples, and families around life issues including depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, self-esteem, parenting, anger management, relationship issues, fears, trauma, grief/loss, military families, personal growth, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and life stage transitions. My empathetic and nonjudgmental approach is client-centered—I meet my clients where they are and create a safe environment for growth and healing. I consider myself an eclectic therapist and utilize the following evidence-based therapeutic modalities including: Motivational Interviewing, Schema Therapy and parts work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic-Based therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Strengths Based interventions, Person-Centered Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Each intervention allows individuals to explore different coping strategies.
