About My Clients
My clients are often navigating legal involvement, trauma, and substance use. May participate in Youth Treatment Court and seek meaningful change. My clients may struggle with anxiety, moral injury, or hopelessness, yet show a desire for growth. I provide a safe space for healing, accountability, and resilience - walking them through emotional complexity toward a hopeful, empowered future. Together, we reclaim purpose beyond past pain and build lives rooted in possibility.
My Background and Approach
Growing up in a military family taught me adaptability and resilience-traits I bring into every session with clients navigating their own upheaval. My early struggles with addiction and academic failure gave me a lived understanding of the road to recovery. That turning point, ignited by the birth of my daughter, drives my commitment to helping others reclaim their lives. I hold a bachelor's in sociology, a master's in criminal justice, an associate in substance abuse counseling, and a masters in mental health counseling. With experience ranging from the correctional system to private practice, I specialize in working with legally involved adolescents and individuals facing addiction, anxiety, and trauma. Clients benefit from a therapeutic space built on empathy, honest connection, and the belief that change is always possible. Through both professional expertise and personal growth, I support others as they rediscover hope, purpose, and healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My faith in God is the foundation of my life - it shapes who I am as a mom, daughter, professional, and human being. I value integrity, honesty, and loyalty, and I strive to meet others with compassion-not judgment. My recovery journey has taught me that healing starts with understanding and continues through grace. Growing up, I connected with my dad and grandpa through fishing and, later, drinking. But over time, I discovered that real connection and reward come from growth. Inspired by Matthew 7:3-5, I believe in tending to my own journey so I can better walk with others on theirs. I support causes that uplift recovery, community wellness, and mental health awareness. I'm committed to lifelong learning and spiritual growth, and I carry these beliefs into my work - helping clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to change their lives from the inside out.
