About My Clients
My ideal client is a late or unofficially diagnosed neurodivergent adult seeking a compassionate, creative, and affirming space to explore their inner world. They may be navigating identity, relationships, or emotional challenges and are open to deep self-reflection. Whether through talk therapy or creative expression, they value a tailored, culturally sensitive approach that honors their uniqueness, encourages growth, and supports healing with warmth, curiosity, and the occasional laugh.
My Background and Approach
I am a psychodynamic creative arts therapist with experience supporting neurodivergent adults through a blend of talk therapy, creative expression, and a deeply relational, culturally sensitive approach. I specialize in working with individuals navigating autism, ADHD, identity exploration, emotional regulation, and relationship challenges. My work is trauma-informed, LGBTQIA2S+ affirming, and rooted in integration of the self, honoring each person’s unique lived experience. I offer psychotherapy, creative arts therapy, life coaching, and couples counseling—tailoring each session to meet your needs and communication style. Through art-making, somatic awareness, and psychodynamic insight, we uncover patterns, address past wounds, and foster growth. I create a safe, supportive space where humor, creativity, and curiosity are welcome, empowering clients to build deeper self-understanding, improve relationships, and live more authentically.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a collaborative, empowering, and affirming experience. I see each client as the expert of their own life and honor the complexity of their identity, history, and inner world. I believe in the healing power of creativity, curiosity, and authentic connection, and that growth happens when we feel truly seen and accepted. My practice is rooted in the belief that neurodivergence is not something to be "fixed," but understood and supported with compassion. I value humor as a tool for resilience, and I hold space for both the depth and lightness of the human experience. I approach therapy with cultural humility, an intersectional lens, and a commitment to ongoing learning and unlearning. Whether we’re exploring relationships, emotions, or past experiences, I believe in creating a space where you can show up fully, without judgment, and begin to reconnect with your inherent creativity, strength, and wisdom.
