Child issues show up differently in every family system. However, think about it...most often child problems are a reflection of the relationships we have with our own parents or often lack there of. Let me support the identification of the problem so we can create new generational patterns of healthy adult child/parent relationships.

Anxiety starts from the time we pass through the birth canal. Anxiety becomes unmanageable when our parents and or guardians don't teach us skills as a young child to cope with the distressful symptoms that are associated with anxiety, let me help.

Trauma therapy is essential in every aspect of our lives. Did you know most people may not qualify for a clinical trauma diagnosis. However, most people have acute traumas throughout their lives that often go untreated because we don't think they were "big" enough. Let me help you not compare your trauma to others or societal definitions.

Certified in DBT, I find that the most helpful aspect of this approach is the mindfulness and nonjudgmental approach that is required to grow and heal. DBT gives us the skills that our parents may not have access to when we were small, the absence of these skills have maintained the symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression, conflictual relationships, and etc, let's start building proficiency in these skills together today!

Acceptance and commitment is essential for our ability to ascend and feel like we are living high quality lives. High quality lives for individuals mean we are benefitting from high quality relationships. When people are not well as individuals their relationships are impacted. Let's take an individual journey together to support the couple systems, family systems, and ultimately improve our communities and overall society.
