It makes sense that we are unsure of who we are. People have already determined that for us. We don't need to have people deter us from being able to define who we are. My Background and Approach
I often use an integrated approach with an emphasis on dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). DBT explains how we can experience two opposing emotions at the same time and choose how we live with them. With DBT we identify what the emotion is trying to communicate with you and how you can honor it.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that without the bad, we can't truly appreciate the good. Life isn't all sunshine and rainbows. There are positives in life, but it's the tough times that make those positive moments even more meaningful. My belief is to live in the good and respect the bad. Both are important, and together they shape who we are.
