My Background and Approach
Clients come to me looking for a therapist who is genuine, engaging & "gets it". Therapy should be a place where you feel accepted and safe. Sessions with me are a combination of talking, ganing insight, engaging exercises, and finding solutions- whatever makes sense for you. We always go at your pace, never pushing to a place you don't feel ready to be. I use a range of therapuetic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT).
