I help clients understand the roots of their anxiety while learning practical strategies to reduce worry, overwhelm, and physical tension. Together, we explore thought patterns, emotional triggers, and the ways anxiety may affect relationships, work, or daily functioning. My approach emphasizes grounding skills, nervous system regulation, and building confidence in your ability to cope. The goal is not to eliminate anxiety entirely, but to help you feel more steady and empowered.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating eating disorders, including restriction, binge patterns, emotional eating, compulsive exercise, and co-occurring conditions. Healing requires compassion, patience, and a safe therapeutic space where food and body struggles can be explored without shame. I work collaboratively to address the emotional and relational factors that influence eating behaviors, while helping clients develop a healthier relationship with self-care.

Body image challenges often run deeper than appearance they connect to identity, self-worth, experiences of comparison, and how we feel in our own skin. I support clients in understanding and reshaping the beliefs they hold about their bodies, while practicing self-compassion and rebuilding trust with themselves. Together, we learn to quiet the inner critic, challenge harmful standards, and honor the body as a partner rather than an enemy. My goal is to help clients move toward acceptance.

Gestalt therapy emphasizes awareness, presence, and understanding the “here and now.” I help clients explore how their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations are connected, while also recognizing how past experiences may be influencing current patterns. Through this process, clients learn to fully experience their feelings, understand their needs, and develop a stronger sense of self. This approach encourages growth through authenticity, curiosity, and increased emotional clarity.

DBT focuses on helping individuals balance emotional acceptance with meaningful change. I support clients in building skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. This approach is especially helpful for those who feel overwhelmed by their emotions, struggle with impulsive behaviors, or experience intense relationship dynamics. Together, we work on developing tools that support stability, resilience, and improved communication in everyday life.

In couples work, I support partners in strengthening communication, rebuilding trust, and deepening emotional connection. The focus is on identifying the patterns that create distance or conflict, and replacing them with more supportive ways of relating. Whether a couple is navigating stress, life transitions, intimacy challenges, or recurring disagreements, therapy provides a safe space to learn new skills, express needs more clearly, and reconnect with one another in meaningful ways.
