About My Clients
I work with those experiencing infertility, anxiety, and all stages of the pre/post, and pregnancy journey. I know how difficult these issues can make life, and I know how isolating and sad it can sometimes be to feel weighed down by them everyday. With experience comes knowledge and empathy, and I know that taking the first steps are hard, but I always aim to be a place of comfort and support, as well as a source and guide for creating a happier and more peaceful you.
My Background and Approach
Every therapist, like every person, is different. And how they approach therapy will differ as well. My most important goal as a therapist is to make sure that you feel comfortable, confident, and safe. Having a good relationship with your therapist is one of the most important aspects of therapy. It allows us to work together to create and mold your goals and hopes, and allows for us to get the necessary work done to get you to where you want to be. As a trained therapist, I have the skills and the knowledge to help you develop the tools you need to accomplish your goals. I utilize an integrative and eclectic therapy style, meaning I incorporate a lot of different techniques and styles to match my client's specific needs and areas of concern. I focus on the client as a whole - including their present, past, and what they wish for their future. My therapeutic skills are designed to strengthen your confidence, enhance your well-being, and assist you in the healing process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe my role as a therapist is to help. And I believe most people who enter therapy have one common goal - which is to figure out how to be happier, or more content, with whatever is happening in their lives. Most of the time we might not know exactly what "happier" looks like, or feels like. And that's okay, because that is what we get to work towards together. When it comes to infertility and fertility challenges, I believe my lived experience can be incredibly helpful to the therapeutic relationship. Your therapy isn't about me, but I can empathize with your journey in a more unique way.
