About My Clients
You’ve learned how to hold it all on your own, but you feel stuck. Something in you knows there’s more. Maybe your inner critic is loud, telling you you’re too much or not enough. You worry, fake it, numb out, then feel guilty. Even when you have insight, your patterns stay the same, leaving your feeling powerless. You feel anxious and disconnected from yourself, like you’re performing your life instead of living it. You’re ready for something deeper than just coping, you're ready to thrive.
My Background and Approach
As my own trauma recovery unfolded, I became fascinated with the resilience of the human spirit. It’s my unshakeable belief that although traumatic experiences can make you feel inherently flawed and broken beyond repair — the true self has a natural drive toward wholeness. I earned my Master’s degree in integral studies and psychodynamic theory at the California Institute of Integral Studies(CIIS). Surprisingly, trauma courses are not part of the standard curriculum in many programs. So I intentionally sought them out because I always knew I wanted to practice in a trauma-informed way to facilitate deep change. Parts Work is a therapeutic modality that works with the multi-faceted dynamics of being human. It allows us to look at the many different parts of who you are and identify which parts have been disconnected. There may be parts that actually feel at odds, creating a disjointed experience of life. Using this framework we can support deep integration and resolve inner conflict.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in trauma-informed, integral self-actualization guided by an inner healing intelligence. My understanding of my job is to hold space and reflect your process as you follow your own guiding intuition. You've survived so far - let's begin with the wisdom of what you've learned in that process. I am a companion for the grief process for what you've been through and a guide as you build a foundation of with yourself. From there you'll easily access a deeper understanding of who you are and hold a reverential respect for your own preferences, boundaries and needs. This process is the underpinning of how I work. I want every person to know themself with trust and respect to unlock the creative power of your own self-expression. Every person has the potential to live a meaningful life of undefended connectedness with others and safety within themselves. Let's work on finding yours, together!
