About My Clients
I strongly believe that there is no one “right” way to have a body or mind. Neurodiversity and body-diversity are the principles on which my work is founded. As a cis (she/her), white, bi, fat, able-bodied clinician it is important to me that my work with clients is anti-oppressive. There will be times in our sessions that you may challenge yourself, so it is extremely important that you feel safe, supported, and seen.
My Background and Approach
I practice from a feminist, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive perspective. In my work with clients, I use evidence-based practices. In other words, I only use therapeutic modalities that have been proven to work in both scientific and *real-life* settings. I work with teens (16 years old and above) and adults of all genders. As a clinical social worker, I offer my clients not only psychotherapy but help to access additional resources in their community. My session fee is $110 for a 50-minute session. While I do not accept insurance at Boundless Behavioral Health, I can provide a superbill. I look forward to supporting you on your healing journey!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all clients have the right to determine their goals for therapy. I believe that all clients have the right to fee SAFE and understood in sessions. I believe that all bodies and all brains are deserving of respect and care. I believe that all gender identities and sexual orientations are valid. I believe that BIPOC lives matter and I am committed to continuous learning and action to dismantle the systems of oppression. I believe that all clients have the right to ask questions about the therapy they are receiving. I believe in a collaborative client-therapist relationship. I believe in the transformative potential of therapy.
