My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and received my Masters degree in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University in 2006. I began working with teenagers and families 2007 at a non-profit counseling center in Dallas. In 2009 I moved to ACH Child and Family Services in Fort Worth where I worked as a case manager with homeless teenagers at the Emergency Youth Shelter, and then later as a therapist with the STAR program. I moved to Belton in 2014 and have been in private practice since that time. I offer a warm, down-to-earth environment where clients can feel safe being authentic and vulnerable about their struggles. I am a member of the Texas Counseling Association and specialize in working with adolescents, individuals, couples, and military families whose lives are burdened by anxiety, depression, behavior issues, anger, grief, and general life stressors.
